The Pompino Needs A Name

27 Jan 2008 at 16:54

I am only typing this so I can avoid having to true the wheels for the new bike, its not that I don't want to, but MAN! I am *SO* lazy and unmotivated in January's it's untrue. Hard to believe 3 January's ago I spent upwards of 5 hours a day making my last but one house a little tidier so it was ready for putting on the market (something, which was ultimately pointless as the new owners promptly changed the house from a family house to a set of student rooms)

Where was I? Oh I dunno, I guess I'll true the wheels now, I put the bars and levers onto the bike, ready to connect to the cantis (which will probably change to Frogs Legs at some stage) - it kinda looks like a bike now, I just have to liberate parts from other bikes and realise I've forgotten to by a flinkledoofer for the wotsithing.

I know: Penelope

Wheels tensioned, the front was a nightmare and has a massive vertical wobble in it, but welded mavic rims already seem to do that.

No bother here at all with them although DT build up really nicely. I'm still impressed my wheels are still going they've been thrashed of late...
