It's another "Harumph" day for me today, no motivation to work, to not work, to get a battery for my car, to live.

I hate January even more than I do December, I know, you wouldn't have thought that possible, but it's true. It's the knowledge of having another year to defeat, of the onset of the worst 2 months of the year (8/8 days of rain so far), cold, lethargy, tiredness, tax returns the list goes on.

I made the mistake of writing a list of stuff I need to get done before summer, and, well, it's so long, it's depressing, quite a lot of it's big stuff too, which is asynchronous* to my desire to spend the whole year curled up on the sofa under my spare duvet*

I have, however, finally ordered one of those front brake hanger things for the Pompino, although I bet after a week I'll be buying travel agents or disc compatible forks. (depending on how few times I feel like I'm going to die when I take it offroad).

* probably the incorrect word, but I fancied using it - my blog my rules.
** how do I have a spare duvet?

Do you need a lift to Halfords or somewhere to get a battery for your car or can you get enough juice in the old battery to get you there?

13:28 08 Jan

I should be able to get there fine, I'll get them to fit it as they can dispose of the battery themselves.

I just can't be bothered / motivate myself.

Thanks though.

You could drive my car to for me, get it replaced and deliver it back if you like :)

He could build my pompino for me :)

14:37 08 Jan

I'd be happy to build your pompino for you but you'd blame me when you break all of the bits on it.

14:40 08 Jan

LOL, It won't take me long to do it, erm, I just need to find all the parts, which I don't actually have a clue where most of them are.

Matt why don't you take a vacation and go someplace warm and lay on a beach?

13:54 10 Jan

Oh CHRIIIIIIS, I'd go mad laying on a beach, not least because I hate sand, and water, but I go stir crazy having nothing to do, which is why I am always busy.

15:02 10 Jan

So you just go crazy from being busy instead then?

15:24 10 Jan

Better kind of crazy.
