Gunna Get Cross

26 Sep 2007 at 14:35

Finally the world aligned so my computer, my brain and my credit card were all in the same place at the same time, so I've managed to order spokes for the Pompino.. now all I think I need is a front brake hanger whatsit... maybe I could put flat bars* on and use maguras :)

* flat bars + cross bike = hybrid bike - no matter what people on STW claim.

I need the pompy up and working quite soon as road season's pretty much over now, with autumn's normally high winds replaced with excessively high winds and inches of rain falling every other day. So it's time to make a bike that will fit between MTB and ROAD in terms of average speed.

You'll get the spokes then take at least 4 months to build the bike :)

Round ones, preferably made of rubber.

Right, I'm off to be equally helpful on the war on terror.

Wish me luck.
